It is a popular community gathering place that provides fine produce, plants, baked goods and more. In March of every year, the town holds the Winter Park Sidewalk Art Festival and typically in October the Autumn Art Festival is held. These events are very popular with residents of Central Florida.

Winter Park was originally intended to be a resort community and is still primarily residential to this day.
